Denim Coffee Label Design
Denim Coffee Company is a central Pennsylvania regional chain that focuses on specialty coffee. All of their coffee beans are roasted in-house in Shippensburg, PA, and are sourced from single origin farms located around the world. They distribute their bagged coffee to their coffee shops and also work with wholesale clients such as banks and churches.

This project is ongoing, and serves as a good example of the client-facing side of my design process. Once the labels are fully printed and released, I will include photos of the final product.
Project Pitch Slide Deck
After discussing the design problem they were facing, I put together a project pitch containing initial ideas toward a solution.

Round 1 Slide Deck Excerpt
The first round of designs focused on playing with the arrangement of client-provided information. These initial twenty-five label ideas laid the foundation and allowed the client to choose which direction to move forward with.

Round 2 Coffee Bag Mockups
In the second round the client chose 5 designs to continue exploring. I provided a mockup to begin testing designs on and eventually color palettes.

Round 3 Designs
At this stage, the client has provided two rounds of feedback and has given instructions on which ideas to pursue. Here I am exploring different ways to communicate roast level that are both accurate and aesthetically pleasing. Round 4 will likely involve color palettes after the rest of the design is solidified.
